The “Most Innovative Companies 50” list, prepared in collaboration with Fast Company Global, was selected by a panel of esteemed technology industry leaders. Kastamonu Entegre was recognized for its innovative approach with a place on this esteemed list in the “Social Benefit” category.

Particleboard made from coffee pulp, organic and agricultural waste
In line with the collaboration between Kastamonu Entegre and Wastespresso, which aims to create environmental value by managing the waste from businesses, organic materials such as coffee pulp were used in the production of wood-based panels. This initiative aimed to reduce the carbon footprint and develop an innovative production process. In a pioneering move, coffee pulp was employed as a substitute for wood on a production scale that is unprecedented globally.

Kastamonu Entegre adopts sustainability and innovation as its core business strategy in its plants in Turkey and abroad. The R&D center at Teknopark Istanbul is engaged in activities related to efficient resource use, advanced material technologies and process development.
