Innovation Born from Recycling
A Turkish global brand in the wood-based panel industry, Kastamonu Entegre showcased itself at the ECOMONDO Green Energy, Environment and Recycling Expo, one of the most significant events bringing together representatives of green and circular economies from around the world and across various industries. Producing at its Pomposa plant in Italy, the hub of design, by recycling wood waste in line with the principle of 100 percent recycling since 2017, the corporation appeared with a 132-sqm booth at the expo held in Rimini of Italy between November 5-8. Kastamonu Entegre stood out not only with the quality of its products, but also with its strong commitment to environmental sustainability.
At the expo bringing participants from different industries together with focus on the circular economy, Kastamonu Entegre attracted attention with its eco-friendly products. The company showcased visitors its Pureboard panels along with the project for panels developed from coffee waste.
Sustainable Material Solutions
Exhibited by Kastamonu Entegre at ECOMONDO as an element that has attracted attention in both the Turkish and Italian markets, the Pureboard panels are made from boards derived from recycled sources and produced with formaldehyde-free bio-adhesives. These panels with formaldehyde emissions equivalent to those of trees contribute to improved indoor air quality as an eco-friendly product.
Transforming Coffee Waste into Panels
The other project showcased at the expo was Kastamonu Entegre’s project for panels developed from coffee waste as a joint initiative. In this project, coffee waste collected from major beverage chains is recycled and mixed with wood to create high-quality, sustainable panels with an innovative design. This concept combines circular economy principles with creativity, transforming waste into a valuable resource.
