Kastamonu Entegre became the leader in the wood-based panel industry in the “R&D 250” list that defined Turkish companies with the highest R&D expenditures. The corporation continues to have a greater presence in global markets, pursuing the goal to develop sustainable and innovative solutions. CEO Haluk Yıldız emphasized the critical role of R&D and stated that innovation is an integral part of their corporate culture.
Ranking at the top of the wood-based panel industry in the “R&D 250” that defined Turkish companies with the highest R&D expenditures, Kastamonu Entegre demonstrated its commitment to innovation and sustainability once again. Kastamonu Entegre, which not only solidifies its leadership in the industry with its R&D investments but also continues to offer competitive solutions in global markets, ranked 173rd in Turkey this year.
Kastamonu Entegre continues to be the leader in its industry, while resolutely pursuing its goals to develop sustainable and high value-added products. The corporation ranked 4th in the Furniture, Furniture Accessories and Forestry Products category in the R&D 250, which is organized every year by Turkishtime and lists the companies with the largest R&D investments across Turkey. Additionally, the corporation ranked at the top 50 based on the number of national patents awarded to its R&D Center.

Pointing out the critical role of R&D in the corporation’s achievement, Kastamonu Entegre’s CEO Haluk Yıldız said, “R&D is an indispensable element to respond not only to today's needs but also to the demands of the future. Yıldız also stated that the work carried out in Teknopark Istanbul leads the industry not only in product development but also in areas such as efficiency improvement and advanced material technologies. “We aim to produce environmentally friendly and sustainable solutions by working with expert teams in disciplines, such as chemistry, nanotechnology and environmental engineering, at this center. While maintaining our competitive power in global markets, we steer the future of the industry with innovative products.”
