About trends in production and sales of finishing materials - at Kastamonu Sweet Day in Yekaterinburg
We strive to organize our meetings as useful and interesting as possible. At the last event in Yekaterinburg, our experts spoke to the guests about various aspects: company's news, most popular products and their features, ways to use our collections of decors in the most relevant interior trends.
Natalia Kuznetsova, a guest expert, director of marketing research at NAFI Analytical Center, paid attention of the meeting participants to the consumer behavior of Russian people in the market of finishing materials, outlining the main principles of customers choosing renovation components.
According to NAFI, over the past three years, 69% of Russians have made renovation in their houses, apartments or cottages. Capital works were carried out by 17% of respondents, and cosmetic works were carried out by 17% of respondents. 63% of people renovated their premises on their own, and 14% of respondents turned to interior designers. When buying finishing materials, Russian people began to be guided primarily by their quality, durability, wear resistance, and price category. Moreover, there is a trend towards frugality and rational consumption when renovating. The main problem of the past 2022 for customers was the rising cost of goods. 62% of the country's residents noted that finishing materials have become more expensive, while 27% said they could not find the right components.
The participants showed great interest in the information received, and the discussion continued in an informal atmosphere at the coffee break tables. We are glad to contribute to the development of competencies in topical industry issues and thank all those present!
